Flavor okay - but more difficult to dissolve in water.
The flavor is nice and tangy but I have found that this variety is more difficult to dissolve in water. It tends to leave crystals in your mouth when you finish the glass which I do not find appealing. I think the product is still decent just not quite as good as the tropical flavor.

Works for Cheesemaking expensive shipping
I used this citric acid to make mozzarella cheese. It worked quite well for that purpose imparting sufficient acidity to the milk without imparting unpleasant metallic aftertaste some citric acids can give. My only complaint is that the shipping was quite expensive relative to the value of the item. I noticed a local Whole Food store carrying this product at the same price ($4.99) so I won't be purchasing it over the Internet any more.
